Wyoming Has Fewer People Than 116 Counties

I find this map via Mapper_X absolutely insane. And the first thing that comes to mind is the Equal Representation Amendment.

The short version is that Wyoming (or whatever the least populous state is – in case Cheyenne has a boom) gets 1 Representative in the US Congress. When the Census comes out, you take your State’s population and divide it by Wyoming’s. That number is your number of Representatives.

And yes, that means we go back to continually expanding the House of Representatives, like we used to, until we stopped, for some reason, in 1929.
