Farm at General Coffee State Park

General Coffee State Park is a very underrated state park in rural southeast Georgia. One of the most interesting parts of the park is a working farm that they’ve preserved from the 1880s. It’s interesting both how modern farming was back then and also how difficult it was. There’s plenty of steam engines and mechanical tools, but it’s still very different. It’s interesting to be able to walk through and put hands on a way of a life that has completely disappeared.
