Fascinating map from Degree Day. I got to visit California for the first time this year. And yes, can confirm, the weather is all that*
*except that most of California has pretty rough weather. I mean, I do try to find something to love about every place, buuuut Redding, California was Hell on Earth when we stopped on our way to Lassen National Park. Now, going to the Bay Area from the Central Valley – that weather change was unbelievable.
But I’m also interested in New Mexico and can confirm that the Blue Ridge of the Appalachians are God’s Country.
