3 Reasons Why Beginner Botany Is Underrated
I stumbled into a whole new world of knowledge when I downloaded the Seek app and bought Sibley’s Guide To Trees. Learning about plants and trees is seriously underrated. I wish I had discovered it sooner.
There’s Always Something New
You can start small by learning like what is a maple and just keep going until you are considering getting a second college degree in botany (ok, maybe speaking for myself). There are always more facts, new connections, and new discoveries happening.
It’s Simple & Free To Learn
No matter where you live, there’s some plant or tree to learn about. In fact, those are the best ones. I love, love learning all about the Georgia Piedmont. What I once thought was a boring landscape of oaks and hickories is now a crazy diverse mosaic. It’s fascinating.
It’s Simpler Than Ever To really Get Into It
Between apps, Google Lens, amazing DK books, and it’s very accessible. Much more accessible than when I was a teenager.
