Skyline Bench at Grant Park

Grant Park Skyline Bench

Thanks to the Grant Park Conservancy, City of Atlanta and an anonymous donor, there is a new bench with skyline views in the Fort Walker section of Grant Park.

Ever since we moved to the neighborhood, Fort Walker has been our “2nd backyard” – we love bring the kids up to this section of the Park. I’ve spent hours sitting and admiring the view from the 2nd highest point in the city.

The bench is an awesome addition where I’ve already seen couples, photographers, kids, and everyday people stopping for a moment to admire our amazing city.

In time, the white oak to the side will grow and frame the view perfectly from the Gold Dome of the Capitol all the way to the Bank of America tower.
