“Loserville” by Clayton Tutor examines Atlanta’s turbulent relationship with its professional sports teams. Beginning in the 1960s, the city’s leaders used sports to redefine Atlanta’s image, but struggled with poor team performances and weak support. Despite this, sports have significantly contributed to Atlanta’s identity and development.
This photo is from June, and it’s amazing to me that there is still snow on mountains in Washington and around Mount Rainier at that time of year. The landscape is just the perfect stereotype of mountains, sky, trees. It’s all so epic with big sky and big views.
I absolutely love the Appalachians mountains. They are not soaring, rocky, or iconic. But they are ancient, diverse, and complex. They see a lot of humid air coming off the Gulf of Mexico – but also from their own green, humid forests. This view is from an overlook off the Cohutta mountains with clouds drifting up over the ridges.
