Extra Tall Pine and Fir Trees in Mount Rainier National Park

Extra Tall Pine and Fir Trees in Mount Rainier National Park 1

One aspect about Mount Rainier National Park that I think gets taken for granted is that, because it is in such a remote, rugged area that the natural resources did not really get exploited by European settlers before it was named a national park. It was actually one of the first national parks created by Congress in the West. And because of that longevity, most of the infrastructure is actually a historical landmark in and of itself, but also, the ecosystems have remained intact for a very long time.
